The first Algerian Winter School on Smart Card,
AWSSC 2010, organized by the Microelectronics and
Nanotechnology Division of the Centre de Développement
des Technologies Avancées under the patronage of the Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique et du
Développement Technologique, aims to provide a clear
and in-depth summary of the state-of-the-art research in
architectural and material issues relating to the design
and implementation of smart card circuits, encryption
technologies, proprietary or open operating systems, and
manufacturing technologies, etc... The plenary lectures
will be given by outstanding experts to cover both
theoretical and practical aspects. The school is
especially aimed to provide a stimulating space for
young researchers and Ph.D. students which will take
part to poster sessions, and also to provide a forum for
people from government, commercial, and other
institutions to attend and discuss the recent advances
in the area of Smart Card and related technologies. For
this first edition, a dozen of outstanding experts will
give lecture sessions on the following topics:
