The 2014 Winter school organized by the CDTA , is intended to gather experts from around the world who work on topics related to Wireless Sensor Systems (WSNS). The particularity of this resides in the variety of the disciplines covered: Material Engineering (sensor), Analog and Digital Circuits (hardware circuit), test (RF and Functional), Signal Processing, Networking, Security, Applications and Services, etc. The other very important particularity consists in the inclusion of three workshops: the first one consists of the description of the different technologies used in wireless sensors with an insight on the important parameters that determine which one to choose. The second workshop consists of a the programming of Arduino Wiereless Sensor nodes and Xbee modules. The third workshop consists of the design of Quadri-Copter Wicro-Drone. Through the different talks and workshops given by world-class experts, participants attending this event will have a global view of the different challenges related to WSNS and at different levels. Thereby, this Winter School aims to create a new collaboration dynamic leading to interdisciplinary R&D projects involving universities, R&D centers, state institutions, industrial sectors, etc.
The 2014 Winter School will be held at the siege of the CDTA, where a fully-equipped high-standing conference room is available for the convenience of the participants.
