{"id":7584,"date":"2019-09-18T17:01:52","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T17:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.1.5.53\/?page_id=7584"},"modified":"2019-12-29T08:53:26","modified_gmt":"2019-12-29T08:53:26","slug":"team-architecture-for-classification-and-cryptography","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cdta.dz\/en\/research-and-technology\/divisions\/division-of-system-and-multimedia-architecture\/team-architecture-for-classification-and-cryptography\/","title":{"rendered":"Team: Architecture for Classification and Cryptography (AC2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Team: Architecture for Classification and Cryptography (AC2)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">Team leader: Dr. Alim Ferhat Taleb Fatiha<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Team presentation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Architecture team for Classification and Cryptography focuses on two areas of research:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Treatment of medical images for a better interpretation and diagnostic of pathologies.<\/li>\n<li>Cryptography for information security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The objectives targeted by the study of these two themes are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent a large amount of data in a relatively simple format.<\/li>\n<li>Process and secure useful information, relying on complex tools and algorithms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The major concerns and problems generated by these two areas of research to which the AC2 team seeks to find solutions can be summed up in the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation of image processing and information security algorithms in terms of execution time and calculation accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Offer intelligent software and hardware implementations that serve as a human-machine interface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Research theme<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Image processing &#8211; Segmentation &#8211; Classification, cryptography<\/li>\n<li>Embedded Systems, FPGA, Binary Arithmetic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Expertise<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Image processing algorithms: classification, segmentation, compression, 2-D, 3-D reconstruction;<\/li>\n<li>Cryptography and its security protocols;<\/li>\n<li>Binary arithmetic;<\/li>\n<li>Hardware design of digital circuits;<\/li>\n<li>Embedded systems design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Impact area<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Contribution to the &#8220;SEHATI Project&#8221; initiated by the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.<\/p>\n<p>Given the importance attached to this type of research work, a wide range of applications can benefit in the field of health and contribute to the digitization of Algerian hospitals&#8217; computer management systems through the development of treatment platforms, medical and security images.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Research projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>FNR Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project 1:<\/strong> Fusion of Medical Images for therapeutic follow-up in oncology<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alim-Ferhat Taleb Fatiha (Project Manager)<\/li>\n<li>Hachemi Belkacem<\/li>\n<li>Abdelaziz Mohamed<\/li>\n<li>Seddiki Sofiane<\/li>\n<li>Talbi Farid<\/li>\n<li>Messaoudi Khadidja<\/li>\n<li>Ait Mohamed Linda<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project 2:<\/strong> Multimodal Surveillance, and Stress Management System, based on Cognitive Machines (Modality: Facial Expression)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pr.
