Organized by the CDTA
January 17, 2021
A webinar will be organized on January 17th , 2021 at 2:00 p.m. under the theme “Industry 4.0”.
The webinar conference will be moderated by the following participants:
Dr. Brahim BOUZOUIA, CDTA: main speaker
Dr. Mehdi GAHAM, CDTA: participant
Dr. Ahmed KOUIDER, CDTA: moderator
Synopsis:
Today, the digital transformation introduced by the concepts of Industry 4.0 has led to a revolution in the organization and management of industrial production. This revolution has resulted in the creation of “smart” factories characterized by continuous communication between products, tools and workstations integrated into production processes and the supply chain. The mutation induced by this revolution is already reflected through the concept of a connected and agile digital factory, which provides a new way of organizing production systems.
The objective of the webinar is to disseminate the paradigms of “Industry 4.0” to industry people and scientific community through the presentation of the foundations, trends and initiatives that characterize this industrial revolution. Thus, the foundations and current trends of Industry 4.0 will be reviewed gradually and supported by concrete implementation examples. An overview, internationally, of initiatives around the concept of Industry 4.0 will be presented and benchmarks for the implementation of an initiative, in this area, will be outlined.
At the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA), for more than 30 years, digital and intelligent Robotized manufacturing systems have been considered as major axes in the development and conduct of R&D. This webinar will also discuss some advances in the implementation of some Industry 4.0 techniques on the assembly platform4.0 under development at CDTA.
This webinar will provide an opportunity for industrialists, researchers and academics to exchange and debate on relevant issues in relation to Industry 4.0 and its applications, another opportunity to bring together the industrial and academic worlds on a strategic subject for the socio-economic development of our country
Main presentation: Industry 4.0: Foundations, Trends & Initiatives
Duration: 45 min
By Dr. Brahim Bouzouia, Research Director at CDTA
In this presentation, it will be a question, first, to introduce the foundations on which rests Industry 4.0 or the fourth industrial revolution. The latter is the result of technological advances and their operational translation in industry.
Among these advances, there are some that represent the pillars of the construction of Industry 4.0.
The first part of the conference will be devoted to these pillars and their specificities which contribute to the technological and industrial changes underway, leading to a new model of the factory of tomorrow.
In a second part, the technological, socio-economic and organizational impacts of Industry 4.0 will be defined and reviewed.
The realization of the Industry 4.0 project at the country level requires the development of a global initiative. We will review the main initiatives around the world and then define the benchmarks for a planned and structured approach to the deployment of Industry 4.0.
Presentation 2: Industry 4.0 platform of the CDTA.
Duration: 30 min.
By Dr. Mehdi Gaham, Research Master at CDTA and Industry 4.0 Platform Project Manager
This talk is devoted to the presentation of the collaborative assembly platform 4.0 in development at CDTA. This platform is the place of integration of the most recent techniques induced by the concept of Industry 4.0 or Fourth Industrial Revolution.
We draw up a panorama materialized by an application projection of different “Smart Manufacturing” technologies on the Industry 4.0 Platform of the CDTA. We will review a set of these technologies, going from concept to implementation on this platform. These technologies are five :
– Concepts of “Smart Manufacturing” and Assembly 4.0 (Project, genesis and motivations)
– “Digital Twin” approaches for the design and “Commissioning” of 4.0 systems
– Cyber-Physical Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Distributed Piloting
– Collaborative Industrial Robotics and Mobile Platforms.
– Human-in-The-Loop Design of Industry 4.0 Systems .
