National Scientific Week of Digitization and its Applications

On May 17th , 2021, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Abdelbaki  Benziane, accompanied by executives from the sector, inaugurated the National Scientific Week of Digitization and its Applications at the University of Algiers 01 Ben Youcef BenKhedda, which runs from May 17 to 20, 2021.

The applications carried out by the CDTA researchers which were presented, are as follows:

– A presentation on the Covid-fight application by Dr Sarah Boraine

– A Presentation of the application of the virtual world of Dr Adel Oulefki and Dr Zenati Nadia.

-Dr. Amara El Hachemi’s presentation is titled “Laser Deep Welding, Laser Cutting and Laser Additive Manufacturing”;

– The optics and photonics research unit of Sétif also participated with:

– a presentation on the “Infinite Mirror” technology in order to simplify the physical concepts.

– a presentation on vision correction and visual errors.

– a presentation on 3D holograms was also given, as well as the use of the inverted pyramid;

– A demonstration of the stereoscopic 3D technique using four mirrors.
