As a part of the framework of collaboration agreement between the four national research centers (Consortium: CDTA, CRTI, CDER and CNRDPA), to support Research and Development related to new technologies applied to fishing and aquaculture, the CDTA and the CNRDPA organized a restitution workshop of the joint project with socio-economic character “Realization of the first cartographic portal of marine aquaculture in Algeria” at the headquarters of the CNRDPA.
The web platform used, “Map Aquaculture Marine en Algérie”, provides a global view of the development of marine aquaculture and optimizes decision-making regarding investment in aquaculture.
This platform will be hosted at the CDTA
It is a geographic information system designed to collect, store, process, analyze, manage and present all types of geo-referenced marine aquaculture data in the country.
