Team: Architecture for Classification and Cryptography (AC2) Team leader: Dr. Alim Ferhat Taleb Fatiha Team presentation The Architecture team for Classification and Cryptography focuses on two areas of research: Treatment of medical images for a better interpretation and diagnostic of pathologies. Cryptography for information security. The objectives targeted by the study of these two themes are: Represent a large amount of data in a relatively simple format. Process and secure useful information, relying on complex tools and algorithms. The major concerns and problems generated by these two areas of research to which the AC2 team seeks to find solutions can be summed up in the following points: Implementation of image processing and information security algorithms in terms of execution time and calculation accuracy. Offer intelligent software and hardware implementations that serve as a human-machine interface. Research theme Image processing – Segmentation – Classification, cryptography Embedded Systems, FPGA, Binary Arithmetic Expertise Image processing algorithms: classification, segmentation, compression, 2-D, 3-D reconstruction; Cryptography and its security protocols; Binary arithmetic; Hardware design of digital circuits; Embedded systems design. Impact area Contribution to the “SEHATI Project” initiated by the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform. Given the importance attached to this type of research work, a wide range of applications can benefit in the field of health and contribute to the digitization of Algerian hospitals’ computer management systems through the development of treatment platforms, medical and security images.
