The Microelectronics and Nanotechnology division continues to make further progress by targeting topical R&D activities, following the example of what is being done around the world to ensure technological monitoring in this highly competitive discipline, without forgetting to contribute with decisive actions in line with the national context.

Consequently, the division’s contribution could be more conclusive for the development of microelectronics at the national level through its participation in the establishment of a Microelectronics Ecosystem with the various stakeholders (government, universities/research centres, industry), in themes such as:

  • Biomedical engineering
  • Digital
  • Smart-X
  • Environment and Water
  • Photovoltaic
  • Sensors
  • Micro and Nano technology
  • Projects related to the Microelectroinics Technology Centre
  • Knowledge and Training
