The National Fair for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Scientific Products

The National Fair for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Scientific Products organized on June 28 and 29, 2022 at the Houari-Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB) as part of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the independence of Algeria, was inaugurated by Mr. Abdelbaki BENZIANE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, after the opening word given by Professor Djamel Eddine AKRETCH, Rector of the USTHB

The ceremony was held in the presence of Professor  Noureddine GHOUALI, Advisor to the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBOUNE, Mr. Ahmed MAABED, the Wali of Algiers, Professor Benali BENZAGHOU, member of the Council of the Nation)senator) and the first Rector of the Houari-Boumediene University of Science and Technology USTHB, Mr. Abdelhakim BENTELLIS the General Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research MESRES, and the directors of several universities and scientific research centers participating to the event.

The Research Fair is a space for exchanging experiences and knowledge through the exhibition of 150 scientific products representing the best achievements of Algerian Research Centers and Universities in the field of innovation and scientific solutions in various fields.

The CDTA participates in this event with products and solutions resulting from the work developed in its research divisions and its technological platforms exhibited at the stands of the Show visited on the 1st day by the official delegation.

Ten Algerian universities from different parts of the country are also present at this fair where interactive spaces animated by three renowned scientific clubs in addition to the scientific club of the USTHB.

The Office of University Publications (OPU), the University of Continuous training  (UFC), the National Office for University Works (ONOU), the various departments of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and business economic are also present at this meeting.

A review retracing the course of higher education in Algeria from 1962 to 2022 and a review of the experience of research centers in Algeria from 1962 to 2022 were presented during these fair. The winners of the prize for the best thesis on national memory were announced.
