The visit of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the Research Unit in Nanoscience and Technologies & the Research Unit in Optics and Photonics

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdelbaki BENZIANE visited this Sunday, May 10, 2021  the UROP and URCDO research units. He was received by the respective Directors, Dr. Hadj Benia and Dr. Youcef Bougherira.

After visiting the premises of the UROP and URCDO, a presentation of the existing equipment was organized.

This visit was mainly aimed  to the inspection of the various prototypes and research / development / innovation products. It was also the opportunity to present the establishment’s response to the Covid-19 crisis.

The Minister also visited the nanotechnology scientific research facilities donated to URCDO by the Max-Planck Society.

Finally, the Minister, in a press conference, praised the work accomplished by the staff.
